It has been stated that this classic will officially return in 2010; however, it has shown up at select retailers, for pre-order.

Its suede/patent leather base is complimented with a torsion bar cushioning, a soft cell sole and a great heel structure support system. Adidas will also unleash a purple and powder grey ZX along with its original colourway. Both are available now for pre-order at End. Is this a must-have for you when it releases?

Adidas Consortium “Your City” Series, part 3

In the third installment of the Adidas Consortium “Your City” Series, Europe, Canada and Japan are all paid tribute and given their own collaborations, as the sneaker giant has paired with a shop in each city.

The Adidas Tokio is done here by VA, a shop out of Tokyo. This sneaker uses an all black upper, mixing ripstop nylon and leather on the toes. Yellow accents are used for the lace loops and a white midsole finishes them off. Toronto’s Livestock went to town on this runner with a load of grey in suede and other choice materials. Blue is used for accents, and an orange heel patch pops off the darker colour-up. The London is done here by Crooked Tongues in a dark grey, while red stripes and gold are used throughout, including the top eyelet. Finally, the adidas Paris is done by Colette, who chose a clean white base for their project. The stripes are done with multiple colours on the stripes, which use a polka dot pattern. All four shoes also feature special tags, representing for each shop and their hometown.

Adidas Top Ten Hi 60 Years of Soles and Stripes

Adidas may be known as the brand with 3 stripes, but these Top Ten Hi’s are multiplying that number many times over. To celebrate “60 Years of Soles and Stripes,” this sneaker is representing with an all-over striped print with multiple colours.

The majority of this one is done with grey and white alternating stripes, while blue is used for the stripes on the traditional 3-stripes design and around the ankle. A blue outsole is used under a white midsole to match up those sections. A panel of red striped material is used to wrap around the heel for accent. A gold 60 years and leaf label is used on the tongue to further celebrate the anniversary.

PS3 Slim slathered in 24k gold

Computer-Choppers introduces their latest blinged up creation - a new PS3 Slim that is covered in 24k gold without having Midash touch it. There will only be 5 of these available worldwide, making it extremely rare to own. No idea on pricing, but if you have to ask, you won't be able to afford it anyways. We're still trying to understand the whole deal with blinged up tech that is going to get obsolete anyways.

World’s largest yacht sold to hedge fund boss

Rumors aside, the owner of the world’s largest yacht is hedge fund manager Elena Ambrosiadou. There have been all kinds of rumors about the buyer and the sale price but downforwhatever have disclosed the deal, believed to be worth $120 million. Ms. Ambrosiadou is the humble owner who prefers to call herself the “caretaker” of Mr. Perkins’ 289 foot luxurious boat fitted with the sophisticated sail system. The boat has a crew of 18 with six guest cabins, eight crew cabins, a gym and a sculpture of a vintage Bugatti racing car and on top of it a mini-submarine. The Maltese Falcon’s interior is as luxurious as you’d expect and I am sure it’s enough to call it the world’s largest and most luxurious sailing yacht, and that too with an owner.

Jeremy Scott x adidas Originals “J Wings” Metallic Silver

Designer Jeremy Scott’s work with Adidas has received mixed reviews, from ‘heads and celebs alike. We first saw the J Wings sneaker almost a year ago in an all white colourway, and up now is this pair in metallic silver and black.

On any other shoe, the first thing that anyone would notice would be the metallic silver leather upper, but because the namesake wings along the side, we can immediately see that these aren’t your average Adidas. The old school thick midsole and outsole are done in black, contrasting the stitching throughout. Scott’s signature also appears near the heel and the debray near the toes features a grill with “Jeremy” on the “teeth.”

BIQ x Puma “700 Level Pack”

Only one sports venue ever contained fans that cheered for the injuries of opposing player, thought “sportsmanship” was a four-letter word and pelted Santa Claus with snowballs. Santa Claus! The 700 Level of Philadelphia’s Veterans Field, where the Eagles played from 1971-2002 is paid tribute for its legacy as the “Nest of Death” with this pack from Puma and Philly retailer UBIQ.

Consisting of four sneakers, this pack dons green, white, silver and black to pay tribute to the city’s favorite team. Two Clydes and Two Mids are included, with a mixture of jersey mesh and leather used for their uppers. The heels all display the stadium’s years, 1971-2003 (The Eagles moved to Lincoln Field in ‘02 and the Phillies stayed through ‘03). The laces also feature to above 700 Level’s nickname for good measure.
