Nike Air Force 1 “2010 All-Star” Black

There was both positive and negative remarks regarding the Nike Air Force 1 “2010 All-Star” lineup. The all-patent leather look is definitely not for everybody. However, we have spotted yet another “2010 All-Star” Air Force 1 that the majority of you will probably like thanks to its simple colour scheme.

First off, we must be the bearer of bad news. This particular 2010 NBA All-Star Nike Air Force will NOT be available for purchase. However, if it did release, would you purchase? It owns a primarily black patent leather base combined with a clean, white midsole and a black outsole. Much like the red, white and blue pairs in the previously mentioned lineup, this pair also owns the silver swoosh and heel tab. Other features include a red, white and blue Texas All-Star logo (heel), a white inner lining, white shoelaces and a white/black Nike tongue logo. Is this the best “2010 All-Star” Air Force 1 yet?

Adidas Consortium New Arrivals

The Adidas Consortium and Originals lines have been nothing short of on point as of late. From the Star Wars collaboration to the general releases, the brand with three stripes has hit us with some great colourways. And continuing that trend are these color-ups of the ZX8000 and Torsion SP, which both just landed at Proper.

The “Runners Pack” ZX8000, which features a mix of grey suede and black mesh for its base. Teal accents appear throughout to brighten things up. The Torsion SP uses shades of tan and grey to provide a natural look, despite its multiple yellow, blue and fuschia attributes.

Adidas Top Ten Hi White/Navy Blue

The Adidas Top Ten contains the prototypical old school hoops shoe looks. With its high ankle, simple construction and lack of flair, it’s a solid choice for any fan of classics. This next pair continues the trend of clean designs we last saw in a Black/White colourway.

White leather appears as the majority of the upper on this pair, which matches up nicely with the white midsole. Naturally, navy blue is accent color seen most, as it appears on the triple stripe design along the mid-panel, outsole and at the ankle, among other places. Red is also used a small amount on under the bottom “rib” on the ankle. On the tongue and dubrae, red text pays homage to the 30th anniversary run of the Top Ten that started in late 2009.

Asics for Winter Preview

Asics gave attendees of the Bright Tradeshow a sneak peek of their sneaker lineup for Winter, and some nice colour-ups of some familiar silhouettes were present.

It looks like the design trend is to use dark and natural colours with brighter, but still subtle, accents. One of the Gel Lyte IIIs uses a cream and white base, with hits of navy and red on the toe, heel and liner. The last time we saw that particular silhouette it was showing off a black and yellow colour scheme. Another pair uses tan with purple and pink. From the looks of things, Asics is bringing some good stuff

The original Pants on the Ground already got some cover treatment from Jimmy Fallon as Neil Young and keep-your-day-job Brett Favre, and you can of course even pick up a t-shirt at this point.

Check it out below and let us know what you think. And if you just can’t get enough PotG, there are even more remixes awaiting you. What major recording artist should pick up the next Pants on the Ground remix?

Adidas AdiFC “World Cup”

The World Cup is right around the corner. To pay tribute to some powerhouse countries, Adidas has designed these 4 AdiFC shoes. Germany, Italy, England and Brazil are all present, marking the second pair each for two of these teams. You’ll probably remember the Reebok Classics for England and Brazil to celebrate the Cup, as well.

Germany’s design uses a simple black upper with white accents and yellow, red and black outlined diamonds along one of the stripes. England’s look calls on white leather for its majority, with navy blue patent stripes. Red stitching appears on those, and grey suede has been added on the toe, tongue and ankle areas. For Brazil, a bright yellow upper is the first thing you’ll notice. Green and royal blue make up the liner and stripes, respectively. Finally, 2006 World Cup champion Italy is the fourth represented team and country. Red, green and blue stripes appear next o gold stars on the white leather upper. Blue is the choice colour of the team, though it is not a color on the Italian flag.

Adidas Originals “Element” Pack

The Adidas Originals “Element” Pack is hitting shelves worldwide. We took a look at this entire collection awhile back, and many of our readers were immediately feeling the monochromatic approach.

5 shoes are available in the pack, representing for many of Adidas’ classic silhouettes. A grey Samba, blue Superstar, brown Stan Smith, yellow Nizza Hi and red Forum Mid stand for clouds, water, earth, the Sun and fire, respectively. With the simple approach taken here, and the single colour look, this pack provides wearers a lot of options to match with. You can grab all five now at Crooked Tongues.

Adidas Originals Nizza Lo

It seems like the turn of the new year is a great excuse to start looking forward to warmer weather. While much of the country is still cold and snowy, major shoe manufacturers feel it’s okay to start anticipating the days when you can wear an all-white sneaker, as seen in this Adidas Originals Nizza Lo.

Leather makes up the uppers here. All the panels use that construction, with the exception of the rubber textured toe cap for added durability. Slight splashes of blue are used on the underside, as well as the plaid print on the sock liner.

Adidas Consortium “Runners” Pack

Adidas Consortium is releasing three new takes on old silhouettes soon in the ZXZ NLT, ZX450 and Tokio Low. Three vastly different colourways are represented as well, so you’re bound to like one of them.

The ZX450 uses a bright red upper in leather. Blue stripes and yellow accents work for contrast, while also further brightening up the. The Tokio Low Uses collegaite purple for its majority, with premium suede on the toe and midfoot and leather appearing on the heel. Yellow works again as an accent, while green is also used on the eyelets and stripes outline. Finally, blue suede on the toe and midfoot of the ZXZ NLT are complimented with infrared stripes and a matching tongue label. Expect all three on February 20th.

Reebok x Emporio Armani EA7 Collection

Reebok and Emporio Armani have collaborated to create the EA7 Collection. The collection includes footwear and apparel but so far the only pieces to be revealed are the EA7 Runner and the Mega Chic. Each shoe employs technology from Reebok such as Hexalite while borrowing style cues from Armani.

The EA7 team describes the collection’s underlying philosophy:”The EA7/Reebok capsule collection fuses EA7’s dynamism and sporty visual lines with Reebok’s performance technologies - projecting style and design on the one hand and optimized performance and fit on the other.”

Final judgment must be held until the whole line is revealed but this EA7 collection is looking-in a word-risqué.

After smashing 18 holes Tiger Woods Goes hard!

People get on TMZ or the National Enquirer about getting on the Tiger, but don’t be fooled this Vanity Fair cover story is all about capitalising on the drama filled life of Tiger.

Why else would they put a pic on the cover of a shirtless Tiger in a black skull cap looking like a golf version of DMX?

To make things worse Buzz Bissinger is doing the story. You know the Buzz Bissinger who hates all blogs and independent web sites.

The same web sites that broke the Tiger story in the first place.

Bissinger showing his ignorance in regards to how men think about women calls Tiger several times in the piece “a sex addict.”

Mariah Carey – Inseparable (Remix) (feat. Trey Songz)

There’s no apparent difference between this version and the original track from on her Memoirs Of An Imperfect Angel album except for the extra Trey Songz verse and adlibs. Her upcoming Angels Advocate remix album is coming soon.

Louis Vuitton - Summer 2010 - Sneakers

Even though Louis Vuitton has been making sneakers for its clients for a while now, the label’s sneakers has only recently captured the attention of sneaker fiends since it created a number of more contemporary and urban styles in the past few seasons, with the high-profile collaboration collection with Kanye West putting the label on the map for street-cred ready sneakers. The label’s sneakers had evolved from sleek, racing sneaker type low-tops styled in darker, more opulent Louis Vuitton colourways (signature monogram, supple leather with perforated logos), to roomier numbers with bolder colors and silhouettes and subtle branding often seen in sports label sneakers.

Keeping up with its kicks game, Louis Vuitton will be releasing models that are more Jasper from its Kanye West collaboration than the euro-fancy Energie. Two models spotted from the label’s Summer 2010 line-up are the Tower and Brooklyn models. The Tower model is redolent of the Jasper with a slightly more theatrically chunky silhouette accented with thicker outsoles and more heavily padded tongue. The sewn on racing stripes on the sides of sneakers also contribute to more casual street style. The Tower comes in three different heights, the low, mid and high top, without any compromising on the Louis Vuitton factor. All models feature subtle monogram embossed calf leather details well-loved in the French luxury label, and monogram flower perforations. In terms of comfort, luxury is key for Louis Vuitton sneakers as the Towers are equipped with removable anatomic insock and shock absorber.

Veering away from the dramatics of the Tower, the Brooklyn puts simple casual back into the Louis Vuitton map with its slip-on canvas sneakers styling as seen in Converse and Keds. The Brooklyn sneaker comes in two versions, an easy-going canvas in navy and red, and a slightly dressier number in the label’s signature Damier embossed calf leather. Large metallic eyelets gives the sneakers a more effortless styling than regular-sized eyelets.

This summer, Louis Vuitton puts a little more dedicated craftsmanship into your step without acquiescing on the easy styles you love. Check them out and take a peek at the video of what goes on inside Louis Vuitton’s shoe factory that will happily justify coping a pair for your closet.

Adidas Phantom II - Boston Celtics Edition

The N.B.A. & Adidas 6 city tour continues with this Boston Celtics model in Celtic green. In one of the most storied franchises in the league, this colour carries with it a rich heritage of dynasties, Hall-of-Famers, and even an intricate parquet floor. This model, like the NY Knicks x Packer Shoes model we showed you recently, will only be available to one store in the Boston area, Concepts. Only 6 cities are receiving pairs, and so far they are the aforementioned New York, Chicago, Miami, and Philadelphia. No such luck for us Londoners. The pairs in each city follow the same format: a solid colored upper with the team logo and the tongue and name on the heel. If you’re in the Boston area, head over to Concepts, where the shoes, along with a basketball signed by Kendrick Perkins, will be on sale in extremely limited quantities.
