BIG MAN ZEST / WHO I AM - OFFICIAL VIDEO

Big Man Zest has teamed up with brother and sister breaks duo Beatnik for new tune ‘Who I Am’. Over funky electro beats Big Man Zest MC’s about how he was once called Zest but is now known as Big Man Zest.

With skilful production from Beatnik (aka DJ Nikki and Statis) lifting this tune from the usual clichéd grime cuts the duo has been referred to as a ‘UK Urban White Stripes’. Their fusion of hip-hops beats mixed with rocky riffs and electro squelches certainly make them stand out from he crowd and with Zest, sorry Big Man Zest, at the helm they are sure to have a hit on their hands with this one.

downforwhatever Golf Day

Celebrity golfers bathed in sunshine at the downforwhatever Golf Day to make it the most successful one to date. With teams taking part at Hanbury Manor golf course in Ware, the day proved a big hit and even the weather played ball.

The event kicked off with all golfers receiving a fresh Gabicci polo & a Nautica watch to wear, then tucked into bacon butties, followed by a shotgun start on the club's Course. A three-course lunch was served upon completion of the competition, followed by the awards presentations.

The winning team was captained by Danny Gabbidon, with Vernon Kay's team coming in second and Spoony's team third. Danny Gabbidon scooped the nearest-the-pin trophy, and Eric Caffan won the longest drive.

"I would like to thank all of our headline sponsors Gabicci, Nautica Watches & New Era Global Sports Management, and also to say well done to all the winners. It was definitely a most successful day.

Timex Ironman Global Trainer GPS watch

The Timex Ironman Global Trainer GPS watch is really a significant workout device for virtually any outdoor sports activity – jogging, biking, open water swims, inline skating, skate skiing as well as anything else done outdoors.

This particular excellent brand new GPS watch tracks speed, mileage, heart rate, really does split timing, calories burned, has a countdown feature plus a lot more. It is the ultimate application for your really serious endurance sportsman. It is actually also ANT certified and is going to display power productivity through watts devices.

Acquire pace, distance, plus more on the wrist top. Together with cutting edge GPS technological know-how and ANT compatibility*, Global Trainer records your current efficiency across a number of dimensions, offering instant info with a easy to customize display. Actually, for all those that like customizing then you definitely are going to go loco over the Timex Global Trainer.

Timex was really smart to team up with Training Peaks by having Training Peaks generate the workout analysis software the brand new Ironman Global Trainer is run on. This was the better plan on Timex’s behalf due to the fact that Training Peaks does indeed have great functions.

However, if there are any kind of chinks within the armor with the Ironman Global Trainer it may be the general size, it happens to be large like the Garmin 310XT, and the fact that the watch does two second saving cycles, in lieu of one second, that’s the recognized standard, for those interested in watts production. Additionally, the lack of vibrating alerts makes it not as valuable as a monitor in contrast to the Garmin 310XT if you’d prefer to crank the tunes during exercise.

For the plus area, Timex is actually working at firmware improvements that should begin to smooth out lots of the functions as some time goes by.

Throughout the run this wrist watch functions lovely with lap electronic timers, a countdown timer and also actual speed as well as mileage with chiming alerts if you’re violating your own pre-set ranges.

This watch includes a cycling mount, USB data cable connection and recharging clip as well as a wall mount system for recharging for people who don’t really care to transfer their own data. It is also water-resistant to 50 meters and includes a very soft ECG strap that is practically the same to Garmin’s advanced ECG strap.

The actual Timex Ironman Global Trainer can be purchased in two versions, together with and devoid of the chest strap. The actual chest strap is 2.4 GHZ transmission and as a result is not going to broadcast pulse rate in the swim, exactly the same applies to all of the Garmin’s monitors. The Polar’s T31 chest strap and a Suunto Memory Belt are the exclusive products we have screened that really work in the course of the swimming thus far.

On the whole the Ironman Global Trainer is really a pleasant first stab at Timex’s entrance into the self-contained GPS watch marketplace but we’d be required to grade it being a level under the Garmin 310XT for sincere triathlon athletes. Timex did correct the situation with bike pedal cadence by producing a pace, cadence, distance system that hangs beneath the actual right back chainstay, therefore the Timex Ironman Global Trainer will have without a doubt fixed any pedal cadence issue.

Timex Launches The Vintage-Based “Originals”Collection

You know the old saying “Everything old is new again?” Well, when it comes to fashion, it couldn’t be more true! My mother always told me to never throw anything out because it always comes back into fashion in one way or another. I have a feeling many people will probably feel the same way when they check out the new Timex collection: “Originals.”

This fantastic new collection, a series of remixed designs from the brand’s archives, will be showcased for a limited time at Henri Bendel’s Fifth Avenue window shop on the first floor from now until August 30th. It includes Timex classics such as the Camper and Easy Reader, reinterpreted to appeal to a more contemporary audience with larger faces and fashion-forward colors. Oh, and get this: the price range for the collection is $50 – $110, which is a mind blowing steal for the quality and style of these extremely cool watches! Get to Henri Bendel’s now to get your watches before it’s too late, because with that kind of design and at that price, they won’t be around very long.

Spotted at the launch party for Timex “Originals” was Olivia Palermo, wearing the Timex Originals Easy Reader with brown metallic strap (£60), my personal favorite in the collection. Gossip Girl Kelly Rutherford was spotted with the Timex Originals 1940s Inspiration with Black Face and Green Canvas Strap (£95) and Jamie-Lynn Sigler was rocking the Oversized Gold Digital (£80.) Like I said, I love them all so I can agree with these gorgeous celebs: Timex is where it’s AT this season!

There is something for everyone in the new collection – from the vintage round faces to the kitschy gold plating and 80′s rad neon digitals. With attention to detail that makes them look like they’ve been passed from generation to generation, I have a feeling accessory addicts everywhere are going to love this new collection.

www.digdeep.com

Successfully launched in April this year, digdeep unveils its new look, lacking nothing in credibility, edginess and style. The range of clothing reflects this season’s trends with an edgy touch maintaining the sporting inspiration within the graphics and design.

Their latest campaign was shot in an old paper mill on the south east banks of the River Thames to give a strong urban industrial feel to the new collection. A unique and raw location that helps personify what digdeep is all about.

Both of our campaigns to date have been shot by Phil Knott: British bred, Brooklyn based photographer who has been producing images for over a decade: rich in content and creativity, Knott presents a style that is beautiful, raw, honest and soulful which fits well with the digdeep philosophy.
Digdeep is for every young man who likes a challenge and is worn by a number of celebrities and sporting icons

Digdeep...it’s a way of life!

Brand Whore

Not that the brands mind, we presume. Any opportunity to have their logos splashed about - irony, or no irony - is a chance to market.

Breast Cancer Foundation of Singapore

Are you obsessed with the right things? ask the new print ads of Breast Cancer Foundation of Singapore. But it is not the words but the images used in these ads that draw attention and require a double take. Using Kryolan body paint and Daler Rowney Expression angled brushes and sponges, illustrator Andy Yang Soo painted a model's body and photographer Allan Ng took the pictures for the ads that suggest that perhaps women should focus on health and have their breasts checked rather than obsess about their big butts, pimples and bad hair days.

Timex appears in the new Weetabix advert

The ad, created by WCRS, shows several peak athletes pulling away from the pack in a marathon race. Suddenly a group of friends, dressed in huge furry animal costumes, draw level and begin chatting casually with the athletes.

The friends then start joking amongst themselves before making a final dash for the finishing line and winning the race.
