Nike Sportswear Dunk Hi - Gingham
Nike Sportswear will release this Dunk Hi Gingham alongside the Dunk Hi Supreme we posted yesterday. The visual calling card for this shoe is, of course, the multi-coloured gingham print splayed across the upper. Season-wise this will be a traditional release as it takes heed from the pastel color palette that is typically found in spring wear. It sits, however, on the coveted gum outsole that is aloof of any season.
As the Dunk Hi Premium, this Gingham model utilises Zoom Air and an agreeable mesh lining. Expect a Spring 2010 release and hit the jump for more pictures.
Kalavinka x Adidas Samba
Adidas has put in a lot of effort into representing cities all over the world with their Consortium “City Series” Collection, with Tokyo retailers and artists playing a large part. Kalavinka is the next in line with this Samba, having taken a classic soccer shoe and transformed it into a cycling sneaker.
White leather comprises the upper on these, with a hit of grey nubuck on the toe cap. Royal blue stripes appear on the mid-panel, and a strip of multiple colors is used on the heel. The design element you probably notice first is the large lace cover flap, which is part of the cycle-readiness conversion of these. These have hit select retailers.
Adidas Gazelle New Arrivals
The classic Adidas Gazelle has just landed at select retailers in three colour-ups fresh for the New Year. These releases prove that white matches everything and sometimes keeping things simple works best.
Grey-blue, royal blue, and black are all available with the aforementioned suede build. All three utilise white vulcanised soles and white leather triple stripes to match. Of course, the liner, laces and heel are all done with the same materials and colour to match. Not too many Adidas models have gotten much love in the wake of the Star Wars x Adidas Originals Collection, but these clean classics are definitely worth checking out.

Star Wars x Adidas Originals Collection
Star Wars and Adidas Orignals have coalesced to provide a fleet of heat for your feet in the new year of 2010. The extensive Star Wars x Adidas Originals Collection is categorised into three different packs: the Characters Pack, the Vehicles Pack, and the Direct Pack. Both parties draw upon their renowned imagery-characters and starships for Star Wars and grizzled silhouettes for Adidas Originals-to create pairs with flair. A few of the aforementioned characters and vehicles include the TIE Fighter, Darth Vader, and the X-Wing. The Adidas Originals silhouettes that serve as the respective canvases are the Nizza Hi, the ZX Runner, and the Samba.
Pieces from this collection will begin to drop in January and will be available at Adidas Originals retailers. Also, keep an eye out in the next few weeks for a web application marketing this collaboration.

Greatest luggage of all time turns into a SCOOTER
Hats off, gentleman — hats off. I can say with certainty that this is the best roller bag ever made. Why this particular bit of genius hasn’t caught on, I can’t imagine. Possibly because, like those who ride the accursed Segway, riders of this contraption would give off a certain “punch me” vibe. And yet, one can’t entirely suppress the feeling of wanting to switch places with them, if only for a moment. Shameful, but understandable.
The Trolley Scooter from Samsonite und Micro Mobility is the perfect tool for bloggers like myself who, at trade shows like CES, must walk miles (miles!) with packs full of gear just to bring you guys the freshest news. I’d rather scoot. I’d rather scoot than do most things, to be perfectly honest.
No price is given and I can’t find it on Micro Mobility’s site, but I would ballpark its cost at around £75 — $120 or thereabouts.
Japanese Video Installation Will Blow You Away (Literally! Ha!)
Well, we're not really sure what this installation, from Tokujin Yoshioka for Hermes, is selling, but I'll tell you what: I'll totally buy it. It's at the Tokyo Hermes store until January 19th. Video after the jump.
Adidas Originals “Element Pack”
Adidas is paying tribute to Mother Earth with thisOriginals “Element Pack,” which will drop in the Spring of 2010. 4 total pairs are available, mixing in both mids and lows.
All four pairs are done in a completely monochromatic scheme, as each represents a different element. The lows represent the Earth and the Water, coming in brown and in blue, respectively. For the high-cut shoes, the Sun and Fire are represented, as they will drop in yellow and red. If there was a Heart shoe, this pack would really be complete…
Adidas Court Raider White/Pool-Black
Adidas is set to debut its latest model dubbed the Court Raider.
The new Court Raider ironically possesses a retro, vintage feel seeing that it draws inspiration from some of Adidas’s classic basketball kicks. Specifically, the Forum, the Top Ten and the Attitude are all represented within this shoe in some form or fashion. Its perforated vamp is similar to that of the Forum and the Top Ten, while the sole construction is an exact copy of the Attitude. Other distinctive features include an enlarged tongue, multiple mesh sections and perforated padding on the collar. What are your thoughts on the Court Raider?
